Rev. Ronald Wolfe - Senior Pastor

Ron was born in Neosho, Missouri and raised in Penbrook. Pennsylvania. He began his ministry as a youth pastor and director of Christian education in Parkersburg, West Virginia. From there he became a pastor on Cape Cod for 18 years and is now the senior pastor here at Immanuel Baptist Church since 1991. He has received a B.S. of Bible from Philadelphia Biblical University, a Masters of Divinity from Eastern Baptist Seminary, and is presently working on a Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Master's College. He loves the Steelers and likes to play golf, but most of all he loves shepherding the flock here at Immanuel. Ron and his wife Joan have four grown children and nine grandchildren. |

Shirley Person - Children's Ministry Facilitator

Shirley was born in Chicago, Illinois. Shirley received Jesus Christ as personal Savior as a preschool child and joyfully grew in knowledge and service as part of her Christian family. She is a graduate of Bethel College, St. Paul, Minnesota with a B.A. in Social Work. She has served God for over 35 years in ministry with young children in AWANA Cubbies, Sunday school, Children's Worship and more. She is also a music educator working with over 40 students weekly and curriculum author, lyrics writer, and conference workshop presenter for Child Evangelism Fellowship. Shirley is the mother of two married sons, grandmother of five, and now provides support and care for her parents in their golden years. She resides in Iron Mountain, Michigan, enjoying the beautiful scenery on Earth until time to go home to Heaven! Her life verse is: Acts 20:24 "But life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus - the work of telling others the Good News about God's mighty kindness and love."
